TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING GOD’S TIMING

Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready (John 7:6).

 

MESSAGE

In the verse above, the Lord Jesus emphasized time consciousness and the significance of divine and prophetic timing. When you look at the prophetic revelation of the things that happened with Jesus, from His birth to His ascension, everything unfolded precisely as the prophets had foretold.

We live in a time-conscious Kingdom even though we belong in a timeless Kingdom. Jesus said, “I’m from above” (John 8:23). He was from eternity, but in dealing with things of this world, He was time conscious. We have to know the time in which we’re living, where we are in God’s calendar, what we should do, and what we should expect.

The question then is, how do you know God’s timing for your life or for the nations? How do you know things that should happen or what we should expect? The answers are in the Scriptures—God’s Word! That’s the absolute source of Truth.

Through the diligent study of the Word, you can align yourself with God’s timing and live a purposeful, meaningful and fulfilling life. For example, did you know that this is God’s set time to favour you, and also the nations? The Scriptures let us know we’re in His set time of favour.

Psalms 102:13 says, “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.” Then in 2 Corinthians 6:2 NKJV, Paul reiterates God’s prophetic word to Israel, which is applicable to the nations today: “For He says: In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

This is the day of God’s favour, and we have to recognize it and act. It’s a day of opportunity, the day of salvation. The Apostle Paul called it the acceptable time. In other words, this is the day in which God accepts men, receives men, and helps men.

The nations are also right now in the day of God’s mercy and favour, meaning that we can take advantage of this opportunity and pray for all men and leaders of nations, because if we would pray, God will answer. Hallelujah!

PRAYER / CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for the wisdom and guidance I receive from your Word. I have an understanding of the times; I have clarity and understanding of your purpose and timing and I’m walking in sync with the Spirit to fulfil my destiny in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Topic: The Cancelled Appointment With Death

SCRIPTURE: Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die. Psalm 79:11.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you walk in power, you are not under any obligation to keep a satanic appointment.

 

MESSAGE

Sometime ago, before one of our major Conferences, I encountered a green-eyed demon in the dream of the night who gave himself, not me, a deadline to live. He gave himself the time he would die. When I woke up, I trashed the dream. And to confirm how useless that dream was, I did not tell my wife anything about it. Such a dream was too inconsequential and infinitesimally insignificant to be considered as a matter. The date came and passed very well before I told my wife. The devil was terribly mesmerized. That was an appointment with death that was cancelled.
There is something they call satanic hit-list – the list of people to be eliminated by the devil. There are people against whom witches have planned in their coven or occult realm that within so and so time they would die, but such appointments against you and your family members are cancelled in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, the power of God is what cancels appointments with death; it delivers God’s people from every satanic appointment with death. The scripture says, … according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die (Psalm 79:11). So, when you walk in power, you are not under any obligation to keep satanic appointments.

I declare that every demonic schedule they have given you in the realm of the spirit is hereby cancelled, in Jesus’ Name!

 

REMEMBER THIS: When you walk in power, you are not under any obligation to keep a satanic appointment.

 

ASSIGNMENTS:

Make up your mind to believe only God’s Word concerning your life.
Deal with every negative revelation with the Word and at the place of prayer.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to consistently walk in Your power. By Your Power Lord, I have no appointment with the devil and his agenda. I shall fulfil my days in the land of the living, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: TAMING THE FLESH

MEMORIZE:
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

 

MESSAGE

The flesh is a very powerful weapon in the hands of the devil. Galatians 5:17 says the flesh and the Spirit are always in constant war against each other. The flesh always wants you to commit sin, while the Spirit wants you to please God. If the flesh wins the battle, then ultimately, the devil has won over your soul; that is why you must put your flesh under your control at all times, and one of the major ways to do that is to fast often.

Only a few select people have fasted for forty days and forty nights. The only three recorded for us in the Scriptures are Moses, Elijah and Jesus Christ. It will interest you to know that only the three of them were there on the mount of transfiguration, glowing like the sun. Today’s message is not for the faint-hearted; it is for those who really want to grow.

Don’t let anybody tell you that fasting ended when Jesus Christ said, “It is finished” on the cross; fasting is for now. In Matthew 9:14-15, some people came to Jesus Christ and complained about His disciples not fasting. He said that after His death, resurrection and ascension, the people would fast. Fasting is for now, and we will fast until the Bridegroom returns. When He returns, there will be no need for fasting anymore because 1John 3:2 says that when He returns, we shall see and be like Him. When the rapture comes, those who are not dead will have their bodies transformed to become like the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. At that time, we won’t need food; whatever He eats in His new body is what we will be eating, but until then, while your body is still the way it is, warring against the Spirit, you must fast to remain in the light of Christ.

There are those who will tell you fasting is not for the age of grace. They are big liars. Paul – the Apostle of Grace, said in 2Corinthians 11:27 that he fasted often. He fasted often so he could subdue the flesh, and it would not cause him to be cast aside
(1Corinthians 9:24-27). Apostle Paul said many people run a race, but only one will win. If you want to enter the Kingdom of God, then you must make fasting your lifestyle.

Set apart days in the year for fasting and praying.
